Baseball Todd's Photo Gallery

These are just a few photos of my favorite baseball players and teams. Hope you enjoy them.

Baseball Todd acquired the photo to the right from the Rodeo Theatre in Oklahoma City. After brief initial research, he has determined it is of a baseball team from Chewelah, Wash. It is not known whether the team is a semi-pro club or an organized minor league team. The photo is probably 1910s or 1920s vintage - not sure. The photo to the left was taken by Baseball Todd in August of 1995 during his first trip to THE BALLPARK IN ARLINGTON, home of the Texas Rangers. This was just about two months after the Rangers hosted the '95 All-Star Game in which the National League defeated the American League 3-2. The NL collected just three hits - but all were home runs. Craig Biggio of the Houston Astros connected in the sixth inning, followed by LA Dodger Mike Piazza's solo blast in the seventh. Jeff Conine of the Florida Marlins earned MVP honors for the game when he hit the game-deciding homer in the eight inning - a pinch-hit shot that landed in the lower deck in left field 410 feet away.
