About Baseball Todd

My life changed for the better on July 2, 1994, in Yukon, Okla. That's the day I married my wife Melissa (see the photo above.) Since then, she has continued to support me and my horrendous baseball habit. She never hesitates to encourage me when I want to buy a few cards or a new piece of memorabilia for my baseball room.

Besides that, she's not bad to look at, either. I love my wife with all my heart (I'm getting a little mushy now.) I owe her a ton of thanks for letting me carry my love for baseball over into cyberspace. Thanks, Melissa and I love you very much! You are my sweetheart for life. It wouldn't be hard at all to make a decision between the two - baseball or my wife? I'd take the pretty little woman at the right over baseball any day for sure!

Sometimes I wish that I were a beat sports writer covering the Cubs for The Chicago Tribune or any other major league team for a major metropolitan newspaper. But, 99-percent of the time, I am thankful that I am the editor for Pro Rodeo World magazine. Yes, I know a little about a lot - espcially baseball players and cowboys. PRW is the official monthly publication for the International Professional Rodeo Association of Oklahoma City. I've been the editor for this fine publication since August of 1996. Much like actors who plug their next movie on late night talk shows, I will give a shameless plug for my real daytime job. Click on the PRW logo below to see the official IPRA website. You can order a subscription to PRW through the IPRA website and learn about the cowboys and cowgirls I write about. Next to baseball players, cowboys (and cowgirls) are my favorite pro athletes!

So, besides my pretty little wife, baseball, and writing about rodeo, I like to rock and roll! My favorite bands are Aerosmith and Van Halen - preferably the Sammy Hagar years. If you're interested, just click on either photo of Aerosmith or Eddie Van Halen to go to their respective official websites. As Steven Tyler would say, "Dream On!"

Finally, here is my pride and joy - my little doggy Talbot! He is a pistol! He is one of our five "children," along with our kitties Molly, Annabelle, Smokie, and Bootz! They are the dearest!
